The Discouragement of Elementary Mathematics: In General Education at Oxford, Considered in a Letter to the Rev. The Vice-Chancellor
Thomas Dyke Acland
It is with no little diffidence that I forward this Letter, which you have kindly allowed me to address to you. I am aware of the disadvantage under which anyone labours, who, not being familiar with the daily working of a system, comments on its details; and of the risk which he runs, if he not only points out apparent defects, but also suggests remedies.

TEACHERS’ NONVERBAL BEHAVIOR IN REPAIR INITIATION: LEANING FORWARD AND CUPPING THE HAND BEHIND THE EAR
Cihat Atar, Steve Walsh, and Paul Seedhouse
This study set out to investigate how leaning forward and cupping the hand behind the ear contribute to repair initiation in an English as a second language context depending on the doctorate thesis by Atar.
Conversation Analysis was utilized, and the emic perspective was implemented by focusing on how the interlocutors oriented to the phenomenon. The analysis has shown that leaning forward can itself initiate repair without any verbal prompts, which is a rare observation in the literature. The fact that it makes a self-initiation of repair by the students relevant indicates that they are understood as a repair initiation by the students. In this sense, it is argued here that the two nonverbal phenomena in this study have a systematic organization (as an action and sequentially), and they were oriented to in this way by the interlocutors

A college in West Africa, for the education of African youth by African instructors, under a Christian government conducted by Negroes, is something so unique in the history on Christian civilization, that wherever, in the civilized world, the intelligence of the existence of such an institution is carriage there will be curiosity if not anxiety as to its character, its work, and its prospects. A college suited in all respects to the exigencies of this nation and to the needs of the race cannot come into existence all at once. It must be the result of years of experience, of trial, of experiment
In this context, the importance of open and distance education applications aiming to provide various educational options and to create different learning environments for individuals with different interests, needs, individual abilities, ages, educational levels, geographical and economic conditions, or educational disabilities for any reason increases.
In this context, it is understood that the content of the lessons is given faster in private schools and therefore the content given in eba or trt tv is given in advance in the private schools that are more advanced in terms of the acquisition. In this context, parents with synchronization problems tend to other channels.

In this section, we will try to look from different perspectives on validity by taking into account the studies and conceptual debates on validity from past to present in the light of positivist and post-positivistic paradigms. We will try to shape our predictions for the future on the universal knowledge that the history of science has presented to us. In other words, this section, in which we try to reach the roots rather than get lost in the branches of the tree, is the logbook of a journey on the philosophical foundations of measurement.

The studies examined in this research, doctoral theses, master theses, and the main subject of education and individual differences are limited to the sources and data reviews. In this sense, more comprehensive and detailed content analysis can be made for individual differences. In this sense, broader and more detailed content analysis could be made regarding individual differences. In the studies reviewed, the suggestions variable was not included in the current study since it was not available in every study and was not generalizable. It was revealed that the effects of individual differences in students' attitudes and achievements in the learning process have a positive meaning. This finding is important data for us to see the importance of the subject. Therefore, quantitative, qualitative, and mixed studies and quasi-experimental studies could be done in this field. The findings examined from the research results show that individuals have significant individual differences in learning characteristics. Traditional methods do not provide equal benefits for all individuals. Individual differences, quantity and quality problems in learning, the structure of teaching materials, the impossibility of having a mental knowledge level, and similar reasons require education according to the individual and his/her needs.

The obtained results in this study clearly indicates the enhancing effect of polymer coating on hyperthermia efficiency. In a very recent study, the efficiency of the niclosamide-loaded hyperbranched polymerfunctionalized magnetic nanoparticles on mediated hyperthermia and niclosamide (an anticancer drug) bimodel therapy were investigated . The results in this study indicated that polymerfunctionalized nanoparticles showed sufficient temperature gain for magnetic hyperthermia.
As the role of attitudes is well-established in the relevant literature, and the fact that foreign language attitudes are mostly shaped afterwards in the learning environment, there are some lessons that could be drawn. In this regard, teachers are the first and foremost determinants in the
formation of language attitudes in most countries. Thus, teachers need to make a foreign language an enjoyable learning and communication experience using more communicative methods that will enable students to get to know a different language and a different culture, rather than a lesson. It should not be forgotten that teacher attitudes towards foreign language and foreign language lesson are effective in the formation of students' attitudes towards foreign language and their self-efficacy perception about foreign language. The fact that foreign language teachers are the primary source directly related to the target language for students gives them a role in reducing the anxiety of students towards foreign language and creating positive attitudes.

The lexical meaning of loneliness is defined as the state of being distant from other people. Loneliness is a state of mind induced by weak interpersonal relationships and social interaction. Loneliness is a mood that also includes cognitive, affective and behavioral elements that reflect the desire to establish close relations with others. The desires of individuals regarding their relationships and the things they obtain from their current relationships are evaluated and analyzed at the cognitive level. Positive or negative (mostly negative) affections that individuals experience as a result of analyses and evaluations performed are included in the affective level. Behavioral level refers to the expression of these evaluations and affections in various ways
In spite of the advantages it provides especially for tertiary level students, taking a course online may turn out to be an anxious endeavour for EFL learners. While this apprehension is reported to be related to the very natural characteristics of the learning environment itself such as obligation of using computers and internet, it may also be associated with the online delivery mode of teaching/learning any course On the other hand, earlier anxiety experiences may account for a part of the anxiety the students develop in online settings. In this regard, this study identified that the foreign language anxiety Turkish EFL learners experienced earlier in their classroom learning could be associated with the anxiety developed in online environment; and the foreign language classroom anxiety predicts the online learning anxiety to a significant extent. To this end, the foreign language classroom anxiety scale and the online learning anxiety scale were conducted on 476 students taking an obligatory English language course online for the first time.
THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE VIEWS OF THE PRE-SERVICE MATHEMATICS TEACHERS ON PROOF AND THEIR MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCE
Multiple intelligence is one of the important individual differences of the students. However, there was no study to investigate the relationship between multiple intelligence of students and their views on proof as a result of the literature review. With the study to be done, it will be revealed which area of intelligence is related to the views on proof, and if there is a relationship, what will be the ratio of explaining the views of this relationship towards proof. Since it is known that the views on proof are related to their ability to prove, the results may contribute to the arrangement of teaching methods by taking into account individual differences in the teaching process. In this study, it is aimed to reveal the views of pre-service primary mathematics teachers on proof in the context of multiple intelligence. The questions that are sought to be answered in order to achieve this goal are given below.
* What is the level of pre-service mathematics teachers’ views on proof?
* What is the level of multi-intelligence of pre-service mathematics teachers?
* Are the pre-service mathematics teachers’ views on proof related to their multiple intelligence?

There is reason to believe that the re-education of the German people may prove to be the most crucial factor in the preservation of world. peace for generations to come. The theory is no longer tenable that guilt for the outbreak of war and fox the unspeakable barbarities inflicted by Germany upon her neighbors and upon her own racial minorities rests only on the shoulders of a few hundred or a few thousand Nazi leaders. Instead, this guilt is shared in greater or lesser degree by a large proportion of the general population. The barbarities were so numerous and widespread—involving as they did the dispossession, torture, and mass murder of several million Jews and additional millions of Poles and other enslaved populations— that they could not have been inflicted without the active cooperation of a population deeply Imbued with racial hatred and dehumanized by fanatical acceptance of the Herrenwolk cult.
